dnoblett
If you are from western NY and PA area you probably have heard of Wegmans, this is a private family owned business, the owner grew it from a medium sized to quite large over past couple decades so they have a net worth in the billions. They don't typically flaunt the wealth, however Danny Wegman does like his exotic cars, I have spotted him in Ferrari and Lamborghini. His newest ride is a 2015 Ferrari SP America a special one off car, purported to have cost $3 - $4 million.Man it would be nice to afford one, he deserves it, their family gives a lot to Rochester, jobs, scholarships for their employees, consistently ranked by Fortune in the top 100 companies to work for at #12. They also rank as the #1 grocery chain in the nation by consumer reports.25 reasons Wegmans is the best spermarket. http://www.businessinsider.com/wegmans-grocery-is-americas-best-2014-4 http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america-1.jpg Here is a description:Ferrari's Special Projects division has apparently been keeping busy. We're sure that we don't even see half of the special one-offs Maranello's customer skunkworks unit produces, but we've been seeing quite a few lately. The last one that popped up on our radar screens was the F12 TRS revealed at the recent Ferrari Cavalcade in Sicily, and now it seems that the Prancing Horse marque has delivered another. It's similarly based on the F12 Berlinetta, but instead of taking its inspiration from the 250 Testa Rossa with a unique roadster body-style, the F12 SP America pictured here seems to pay stylistic tribute to the 250 GTO – evident in the trio of nostrils in the nose, the unique side vents, the slates behind the windows and the restyled rear haunches that meld into an integrated rear spoiler. This unique take of the F12 was delivered to its assuredly wealthy commissioner by Wide World Ferrari Maserati in Spring Valley, NY, which tells you as much as the chosen model name that this particular one-off is staying right here in the United States.http://www.autoblog.com/2014/07/01/ferrari-f12-sp-america-report/http://www.topspeed.com/cars/ferrari/2015-ferrari-sp-america-ar163789.htmlhttp://www.gtspirit.com/2014/09/24/one-off-2015-ferrari-f12-sp-america-snapped-in-public/http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/money/business/2014/10/10/danny-wegman-ferrari-sp-america/17051453/ http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america-2.jpg http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america-3.jpghttp://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america-4.jpghttp://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america_15129390099_l.jpghttp://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america_15129413760_l.jpghttp://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america_15131042797_l.jpghttp://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america_15293779886_l.jpghttp://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/2015-ferrari-sp-america/2015-ferrari-sp-america_15312964831_l.jpg Link to comment

When we lived in Philadelphia, we went to Wegmans sometimes, yeah, I have to admit they have very very good selections. I kept one of their free cooking brochure. My first Meatloaf, Enchilada were all from this recipe book. Question: What if the Wegman didn't give back to the community, what will say if you see their Ferrari? Link to comment
warpedbored
As long as he treats his employees fairly and pays them a living wage then more power to him. It's his money to spend how he likes. Link to comment
Doug
Sounds like a good family and so if he wants it then good for him. I want a few toys too. Ugly ass car if you ask me, but it sure is vented good for cooling everything, so maybe sustained high speeds in the desert is OK, and lots of repeated braking power. It would do real good on our local track on a 100+ day I bet, and we have some tight off camber turns to burn brakes right off a car. Link to comment
