johnny206
Hi All, My fiancee is getting ready for the interview soon. I have the I-134 completed with pay stub and employment verification letter from my manager. Is this enough or I need to give her copies of my tax return for the previous 3 years? The tax return forms are required for the interview? Thanks! Link to comment

You may wish to be prepared for the interview. It's your choice - the visa is optional. Link to comment
dnoblett
1040 or get transcripts. 1040s require other evidence attached to them like W2 and/or 1099 forms, transcripts do not, transcripts are a complete report of what was filed with the IRS.I recently got them, the site will generate them on line and you can directly print them or save the PDF email them and GF can print them. No waiting for them in the mail.http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Link to comment
KevinNelson
I'm in China. All my W-2s and 1099s are in a filing cabinet in the States. I do have PDFs of my tax information on my computer that I can print out. Do I really need those W-2s and 1099s? Can IRS transcripts be used instead of copies of tax returns? Yes - the transcripts will do just fine! You might otherwise get blue-slipped for the missing information. Link to comment

KevinNelson
Does this mean that my dad can simply fill out an I-864, and email me the transcripts for his tax returns? That would save a LOT of hastle and time. I am assuming the transcripts are in PDF format. Link to comment
