yanglan
When filling out the g-325a and i-130 should my wife be using her English name (with my last name) as the "Name" and putting her Chinese name in "Other names used" or should it be the other way around? Link to comment
dnoblett
Did she take your name and does documents like Marriage Certificate shows she took your name? This usually is not the case if married in China, it could be the case if she came to the states on a B-2 or K-1 and married in the states, returned to China, and later is petitioning for a spouse visa. If her name changed, you need to attach legal documents showing how her name changed. The name on C.1 should be Pinyin name, and C-20 would be Chinese Characters. Link to comment
yanglan
We married in China and all of the official documentation is with her Chinese name. I current have C1 with her Pinyin name and C20 with characters. I just wanted to make sure this would be acceptable. Link to comment
