Name Change

Here in Virginia, you go to the County Clerk of the Court and file for a name change, which is then done in Circuit Court. It is a simple motion.

For you, it will probably be in your Parish. Your local Clerk of the Court or Court Clerk (Parish Court Clerk?) should be able to give you a form, the cost and help you with the procedure. Not a big deal.
