iTalkBB internet television

Thinking of cancelling "Great Wall Package" at Dish Network and getting italkbb tv. We already have italkbb VOIP service and Lily says the TV will be much cheaper than Dish which I am

currently paying 22.99 per month for. I can't figure the price on italk's website, so does anyone else have it? If so, about what is the price per month? Also, if you have it, how do you like it?

Thanks,

Hank

A prior thread in the communications forum: http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/46085-italk-tv/

Here is the Canada English page: http://www.italkbb.com/ca/en/plan/tv/tvworks.html With the current US/Canada exchange rates so pricing should be same.

As for monthly price, $9.99 in a bundle (Phone, Mobile, TV) http://www.italkbb.com/us/en/index.html (Kinda goofy, in our case we do not have a land line phone, only internet and cell phones, they should offer a la carte pricing.)

We have been using PPLive and other Free apps on an iPad, and now play the ipad on our TV via an Apple TV box.

Thanks, Dan. Lily ordered an italk box on a free trial basis. She bargained with italk and says we got a good deal compared to Dish. I'm assuming it'll work the same as my Roku.........we'll see............... I'll give a report when it's up and running'.

Hi,

I think this thread is a little old now but I would like to know what your experience was with italkbb TV service. My in-laws are in town and I signed up for channels via satellite but it seems the channels they offer are not good. Does anyone have any new suggestions or experience?

Thanks!

For my wife and her mother, we have used a 2 device combination.

Apple TV box, and an iPad.

The apple TV allows airplay from the iPad, on which my wife installed several streaming video apps, such as PPLive and a couple others, she simply starts playing TV on the iPad and then tells the iPad to airplay to the Apple TV.

This is all free too.

Thanks dnoblett,

Does that allow for live TV too? I think they are looking for things on CCTV 1, etc. I ran across something called maige TV today. It looks interesting. Not the cheapest option but if it works as advertised it would be quite the box!

Have you ever heard of someone using that?
