heyjimi
Today my wife received I-797 approval notice for daughter( I-130 petition ).which we sent in almost 2 years ago.The notice says it will now go to NVC(national visa center ).......which means what ? it will sit there now for another 2 years ? or does this mean the gods have looked apon us with favor, and is pushing our petition along? I am told this process takes forever, just wondering what this form really means in terms of a timeline ? is there a timeline ? Jimi Link to comment
dnoblett
How old is daughter? F2A Children under age 21 (8 Sep 13)F2B Children 21 and older (1 Mar 06) If child is less than 21 at time petition was filed, then yes the next step will follow shortly, OPT into Electronic process after you get notified by NVC http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_5163.htmlIf child is 21 or older, there will be a few more years, NVC is currently issuing visa numbers for petitions filed back before March 2006... (7+ years ago) Link to comment
