Trucks like this have four-wheel steering - both of the front axles are tied together to turn in tandem. It looks like something was broken on the front axle, so they decided to simply take off the front wheels and use the second axle for steering.

You know this didn't happen in mainland China when the girl gets arrested for "common assault".

One passer-by called the police, leading to Cheng's arrest. A police spokesman told South China Morning Post: 'Police received a report at around 5.10pm on October 4 outside 38 San Ma Tau Street in Kowloon City.

They took they young man to the hospital, perhaps to see if it was possible to surgically implant a spine.

'Police who arrived at the scene arrested a female, aged 20 and surnamed Cheng, for common assault. A victim, aged 23 and surnamed Chui, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.'
Cheng then started slapping Chui across the face as he screamed, 'You're slandering me!', and urged the other girl to corroborate his story.
Why is spineless jellyfish with a not-so-pretty girl? That seemed to be the topic of amusement with the on-lookers.

The scene was filmed by an onlooker, who commented at one point: 'At least break up with her if you're not fighting back.' As other bystanders started to intervene in the altercation, Cheng shouted, 'None of your business!' Most witnesses took Chui's side, with one woman telling him: 'Stand up, ditch this ugly girl, you deserve better.

Is that sa jiao?

Sa Jiao is a Mandarin expression. The couple is Cantonese, but the expression is a good one for this case. We might also describe it as a dysfunctional relationship. Most Chinese would not tolerate this behavior from another, but just like Jerry Springer, it makes for good entertainment.

SA JIAO 撒娇 is childish behavior from a girl toward her boyfriend. The girl behaves in an annoying manner to gain attention. It's known to be some kind of game to prove how much the couple loves each other.

This link may help describe it a little. Does anyone or really want to live with this kind of thing?

My question was tongue in cheek, as there's been much discussion on that subject here at this site.

Oh, and even greater discussion regarding your question.
