Randy W
In Guangzhou, at 7:13 AM local time, it's so far nothing more than a nice rain storm with a little wind. Nice and cool here now. Searched a little on the NET and cannot find any live or regularly updated views of the current location. The AccuWeather satellite image is updated once an hour. I gave the link in my first post - http://www.accuweather.com/en/cn/yulin/58362/satellite/58362 The link is for Yulin (it's a generic weather satellite image, not specific for hurricane tracking), but you can zoom out and pan to the east to see the whole thing, or call up the image for Guangzhou. Last I heard was that the winds had died to around 85 mph by the time it went ashore last night (Sunday) around 6PM about halfway between Hong Kong and Shantou. It looked like Shantou would have gotten the worst of it. Link to comment
