Classes don't start until after the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Holiday in October. The students drilled, marched, had hand to hand combat training, took part in long runs and exercise routines and even did Tai Chi. Interesting to watch from the perspective of a foreigner. tsap seui Posted September 2, 2013 Report Share Posted September 2, 2013 Our son took some sort of military drilling when he was in the 7th or 8th grade. It lasted about a week or so as I remember....and no, he wasn't "asked" to do this, his whole class did it. Imagine trying to get America's youth off of an ipad or iphone long enough for even a weeks worth of military drilling.....LOL The lawyers would have a field day. tsap seui Link to comment
