danb
I have been following this story for the past week or so: http://www.today.com/news/american-executive-100-percent-i-got-held-ransom-chinese-workers-6C10479749 It is a about an American CEO whose has had a business in Beijing and wants to move part of his business to India. The amount of money that he had to pay out in the last week suggests that he was doing quite well in China and yet wants to move his business elsewhere. I wonder why that is. Also I wonder what kind of upper and middle management was in place in that factory in Beijing. One would have thought that this situation could have been handled better and with a lot of less money. I wonder what the whole story is. Danb Link to comment

His story seems 100% believable, and his intentions seem honorable, but after living in China for 10 years, it seems like he should have been able to address their concerns MUCH more expediently. I don't know what the answer is, but mistakes are made, and he paid a fairly high price for his. Link to comment
