Is a copy of the marriage cert good or should I sent a certified copy?

I know this is closing the barn door after the horse bolted.

 

But did anyone just send a regular copy of the marriage license or did everyone send a certified copy?

For USCIS plain ordinary copies are fine.

whew, thanks. I thought it would be ok. But on visa journey a lot of people must be very cautious.

 

On a related note, Yuan's EAD has been approved, we did not receive a notice about her AP. Since they put both of them on the same card I assume they just did not send the text/email for the AP.
