CITIC Bank Drop Visa Timeframe

We are host to a Chinese high school student. She is going to return to school here in the fall and would also like to take an intensive English course at a nearby university starting July 6. If she returns to China to visit her family she will have to renew her visa. Does anyone have experience with how long it takes to get a visa approved using the bank drop method which does not require an interview? She will only have about 3 weeks between the end of school next week and the start of the English program. Thanks.
