Randy & Nana
My Chinese wife arrived on CR1 visa and has her permanent resident card. We are expecting and the due date is Oct 18, 2012. We want our Chinese parents to visit and stay for several months to enjoy their grandchild. Both are retired from their company and they can prove they have two homes, monthly retirement income, money in the bank and lots of family. They do not wish to stay in America. Will they have trouble getting visas? Has anyone recently followed this process? Please help.We appreciate your help!!Randy and Nana Link to comment
dnoblett
For the most part, they should have no problems, and there are many posts of having no problems in this situation, in my time on the site I have seen only one denied visit visa for a parent posted about. There is an extensive thread about this in the visa discussion forum. http://candleforlove...-visitors-visa/ Link to comment
DocMartin817
We had no problem when my wife's parent's visited us. We carefully followed the procedures outlined at this site and all went smoothly.Good luck! Link to comment
A Mafan
The key is for them to give plenty of reasons and evidence that they WILL return to china when theirvisa expires: property ownership, culture, family connections, pets, etc. Link to comment
