foobaz123
In the interest of consolidation, I decided to start a new topic even though this has been covered in various places before. I was reading some of those other places and noticed a trend of new developments. What I'm wondering from those who have recently going through the EP process is: What has changed from the standard methods used before? Any new pitfalls to be aware of? We're in the early stages of getting our NVC paperwork together while we wait for our case number. Anything special for the paperwork we should be aware of? Link to comment
dnoblett
Start with the Elec Process thread: http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?/topic/37703-i29fk3-changes-and-nvc-electronic-processing-for-i-130cr1/Guangzhou used DS-230, not DS-260 as mentioned by NVC: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html Guangzhou now uses DS-260Also study what will be needed to be scanned and sent to NVC here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html Edited December 4, 2013 by dnoblett updated use of DS-260 (see edit history) Link to comment
Lorenzo
My wife and I were married in Wuhan, March 7, 2011. The visa process has moved to NVC. We have a visa consultant in Oakland, Cailifornia. I sent all required documents to her January 24, via UPS, received and signed for January 25. How much time will it take for her to forward documents to NVC? Link to comment

If doing electronic process you will need to bring all the original documents to the US consulate. Link to comment
