When will we receive Package 4 letter?

Hi all,

 

We did electronic processing during the NVC stage.

 

On January 4, 2012 we received an email from NVC stating that our interview will be on February 13, 2012.

 

Does Guangzhou Consulate mail out Package 4 letter to my wife China address?

 

If so, when should we expected Package 4 (medical forms and interview instructions) to be sent out?

 

Today is January 18, 2012 and my wife is worried about the package 4 letter.

 

Chinese New Year will be next week and she is worried that there will be more delay.

Yes, they will mail it to her. You can also download the packet information from the consulate website

Two things: If Packet 4 fails to arrive, I would simply print out email indicating interview date and go to the interview, all the other forms can be downloaded from the consulate or DOS websites.

OR Email consulate to confirm P4 sent, and address sent to, should provide then a Chinese address using Chinese characters.

 

Can also call DOS visa services and ask if the packet has been mailed by consulate: (202) 663-1225.

 

Bring all originals of docs that were scanned to NVC to the interview.

 

Date indicated as interview date tends to be document hand in day, and then interview the following morning.
