I-751 evidence

Recommended Posts

Name on mortage is just one piece of big picture, in my case we do not own a home or rent a place, so we did not have anything like that.

Being added to a deed is not a requirement.

Provide other evidence of living together.

I have a related question. I am sure this varies from State to State but in Arizona in order to add some one to a deed, you essentially need to 'sell' your home from you as an individual to the two of you as a couple. You do this for a nominal fee (~$10). It is a simple legal matter.

My question is whether mortgage companies allow you to do this or if they are going to want you to refinance your mortgage?
