waldoss8
My wife will be out of the USA for about 6 weeks visiting family. Will she have any problems returning to the USA after that amount of time? She has a valid 10 year green card. Thanks for all your support. No problems at all, my wife went home for 8 weeks last year. Only if out of country longer than 6 months will be questioned and if out of country 1 year or longer will be required to have a re-entry permit or returning resident visa. bullmastiff
No problem unless she crosses to Afghanistan or Pakistan to train with the Taliban
Kyle
Dan's correct. in fact, she can stay outside the US for 6 mo, without breaking continuous residency. My wife is about to go back to China for two months. She also has her 10 yr green card.
