When I called the the USCIS hotline yesterday and was told the case was still pending. Any idea as to how long this may take? Thanks. Link to comment
dnoblett Posted April 9, 2011 Report Share Posted April 9, 2011 Can take anywhere from 6 months to a Year. The I-751 receipt letter extends validity by a year, and if not approved within 1 year, can always do an info pass appointment for an I-551 stamp. I have seen some simply file an N-400 for citizenship 1 year after filing I-751, while I-751 is still processing, this has the effect of getting the I-751 moving if stalled. Link to comment
