How long is the consulate currently taking until interviews?

Just curious what the current timeline you guys a seeing from when you get your visa sent to Guanzhou until you get an interview? Is China typically a quicker or slower consulate than other countries? Just curious.

 

I was told I should get my NOA2 decision within a week. I know its got to go to the NVC next and all the packet stuff but I am just trying to get a better idea.

Here is a timeline for a recent K1:

 

K-1 Visa

Met each other while working in China: September 2008

I-129F sent£º7/06/2010

NOA1: 7/21/2010

NOA2: 12/02/2010

P3 received: 12/27/2010

P3 returned to GZ: 12/29/2010

Interview: 3/1/2011 -- PINK!

I emailed DS 230 & I 864 EZ with ALL the documents last week to NVC electronic processing .

 

This is for CR 1 .

 

anyone knows roughly how long before we hear from them that the case is complete and ready to go to GZ for interview scheduling ?

Typically 1 month after NVC indicates they are complete and sending on to consulate in CR-1/IR-1 cases.
