I'm sure this has been asked a million times or more.. but reading all these horror stories about problems at NVC lately has me wondering.. given our situation, would it be a bad thing to go for the K-1 instead of getting married in April and going for the CR1?

 

Never read about problems at NVC, CR1 process there is fairly quick.

 

The horror stories have to do with GUZ, the tend to deny K1 way more than CR1.

 

Getting married first shows more of a commitment than K1.

 

Best way to avoid pitfalls is to develope a long solid relationship first before fileing a petition.
