Last I knew HK was on the visa waiver program

HK or Macau SAR passport holders do not require a visa to enter the US, but I'm not sure how long they can stay.

Yes they can stay as long as they want, but only in status for 90 days, unless of course they come across the Rio Grande then they can apply for a work permit, Really just ask Bush.
