I know I don't post much anymore here just like to read whats going on with the visa's and our wonderful gov't reasons for delays, need to hang most of these dumb a-- people that work for us but the question is hoiw much is it to renew your childs visa sinsce they are under the age of 18. The lady at the poist office told me one price and the web sight told me another. Glad all the new members are doing fine with the paper work trail, but a pain in the a--, good old days were 90 days before 9-11 I was told. Hello to all the old people that still check in from time to time and Merry Christmas to all.

A visa is for entry to the USA, it is a one time thing.

 

Does child have a green card, are they a US citizen?

 

Only thing I can think that would be renewed at the post office would be a US passport and the post office is just a drop off point for the paperwork.

If we are talking about a US Passport the fees are:

 

• Minor age 16 and less $105 ($80 + $25)-- Use Form DS-11
  
• Adult age 17 and older $110 ------------ Use Form DS-82
