Danny999
We are filing the I-129F in January. We have both been divorced and will have certified divorce decree's. Do we need CoM's also? I think maybe just she does. If so, do we file it with the I-129F, or save it for the interview? Thanks Everyone! Link to comment
dnoblett
Benificiary needs one at time of interview. Will get one when getting other docs like police cert, birth cert, etc... http://photos.state.gov/libraries/guangzhou/47024/K%20p3/K%20Instruction%20-Aug_%2010.pdf http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/forms_and_packets.htm The cert of marriageability and police cert are considered valid for one year so get them after USCIS approves the I-129F. You will need to send copies of divorce certs to USCIS with petition. Also it is a good idea to attach a letter explaining evolution of relationship starting at divorce. dnoblett
One more note, if beneficiary, lived in any other country longer than 6 months other than China since age 16, will need a police cert from that country or city within that country, depending on country. Link to comment
