Hotels or Apts Near US Embassy in Beijing

My mother-in-law is going to have her visa interview on 10/6. She lives in Wuhan and has never been to Beijing. Can someone suggest some hotels or apts near the US Embassy? Better yet, is there personal assistance, such as train station pickup, available? I used similar service in GUZ.

For all my trips to China I have used China-Highlights agency for these things. The agency can pick-up at airport, book hotel, and transport back to airport.

Try the Hua Du Hotel. It is within walking distance to the US Embassy and in a nice location. It is a 3-star with good price. The taxi drivers all know where it is and from the airport it costs about 70 RMB including the highway toll (don't take the non-toll roads to save 15 RMB).
