Is there someone who can let me know how long the b2 visa holder can stay in states? thank u

The length of stay is assigned at the POE - usually at six months.

Correct 90 - 180 days or if have a return ticket they may set the date to the day of the return ticket.Also they can and do set the return date beyond the expiration of the visa. Edited September 4, 2010 by dnoblett (see edit history)

Have b2 holders have buy round trip air tickets,if so how can they get the tickets without knowing the returning date? Thanks again:-)

Not sure I am following?

 

If you buy RT tickets the Itinerary will indicate the fight to and from the USA dates, when buying RT tickets you typically specify return date, unless you buy an open-ended ticket.
