Kyle
I just read that those of you in China may have access to several websites that were previously blocked. This isn't new though, as Jingjing and I often were able to go to one site on one day and have it blocked the next. The great firewall is adequate (in a preventive sense) for probably a large portion of the Chinese society, but for anyone with a dab of computer know-how can find ways around it. We used http://www.witopia.net to open access to restricted websites like youtube, imdb, as well as other sites of a religious nature. The service we used was the PersonalVPN, which I would gladly recommend to any serious Internet user while in China. I tend to agree that the newly unrestricted sites are merely a glitch in the system.
