bokiwen
We are getting ready to file Yin's I-751 (wow, two years already!). Yin's 90 day window will start on May 1st. We are also working to get under agreement to buy a home with a closing data of May 24th. Because we are not 100% sure everything will go through with closing, if filing on May 1st we would fill out the I-751 with the current address, but would almost immediately have to file AR-11 (change of address). Has anyone done this before, or do you think it is more beneficial to just wait until after May 24th (24 days into the 90 day window) and file it with our new address? Link to comment
dnoblett
Very easy, file the I-751 AFTER you move, you are NOT required to file it on the first day of the 90 day period before CR-Green-Card expires. In our case we filed the I-751 10 days before the green-card expired. You will need to file an AR-11 AND and I-865 when you move. Edited April 15, 2010 by dnoblett (see edit history) Link to comment
