7.1 Quake hits Western China

China has been really hit with some very bad quakes lately. 400 are feared dead. Serious flooding may occur as well. We all live life by a thread it seems.

There have been so many earthquakes lately it makes you wonder what is going on. Let us pray that the loss of life is few, and that the many injured recover quickly.

Lao po and I were in Golmud last fall...about 300 km. from where the quake was.

We were just a few hundred clicks south of here 2 days before the quake hit... while I miss China, in this case, I'm glad to be home!

China gave an offical day of morning for the Quake victims which injured over 12,000 and killed 2,064 according to reports today in the devastated area of Tibet.
