Am I reading the 'fine' print correctly? I am getting the impression

that I do not file for the I-485, the above mentioned subject matter,

until I get my 2nd NOA for the I-130. Is that correct?

Based on the Texas processing center's timeframe for processing I-

130s now taking about 990 - 999 days, I will have to file the I-593

for an extension before I get my 2nd NOA. I received my first NOA

for the I-130 on March 4, 2003.

Oh well, I can enjoy the fact that my wife and son are here and that

we are reunited as a family.

Although I was not a K3, I think you can file for AOS anytime after your wife arrives. Don't know about the I-130 copy as we didn't have one of those. In any case, welcome to the wonderful (not to mention slow) world of AOS.
