rschaadtw
Am I reading the 'fine' print correctly? I am getting the impressionthat I do not file for the I-485, the above mentioned subject matter, until I get my 2nd NOA for the I-130. Is that correct? Based on the Texas processing center's timeframe for processing I-130s now taking about 990 - 999 days, I will have to file the I-593for an extension before I get my 2nd NOA. I received my first NOAfor the I-130 on March 4, 2003. Oh well, I can enjoy the fact that my wife and son are here and thatwe are reunited as a family. Richard Link to comment
rschaadtw
Now that I have read the I-485 requirements for the nth time, I believe that I can apply anytime once my wife arrives. I will just need to submit an original copy of my I-130. Is that correct? Link to comment
Mick
Although I was not a K3, I think you can file for AOS anytime after your wife arrives. Don't know about the I-130 copy as we didn't have one of those. In any case, welcome to the wonderful (not to mention slow) world of AOS. Link to comment
