A Great Irony

Recommended Posts

I don't know if you all have been following this story, but it is a saga that continues. Australian PM Rudd has again brought up this subject at the recent East Asian conference.

Hu is a naturalized Australian who works for the mining giant Rio-Tinto. He was the lead negotiator for ore prices, and was arrested in China for industrial spying and bribing Chinese officials.

The irony is that China has a reputation for having one of the biggest industrial and military spying efforts in the world.

Then other countries should make a concerted effort to find and prosecute Chinese spies. I agree with you that there must be quite a few.
