GDBILL
In a global push, the Ford will open its third plant in China and introduce four new vehicles before 2012. It will be interesting to see if the Chinese will steal any new Ford models, copy them clear down to the logo and then sell them on the black market or even try to export them back to the States for sale ... just like they did with the Mercedes Smart. dnoblett
China is a booming car market, all auto makers tend to set up plants in other markets to produce cars closer to where they will be sold. All I can say good for Ford, that company weathered the downturn well and did not have to ask for a government bail-out, unlike Government Motors (GM) and Daimler throwing Chrysler under the bus.
