Don't trust a lot of what you read in newspapers. Housing markets fluctuate and right now -- at least in major cities -- it is a buyer's market. To make things even more complicated, investing in Chinese real estate companies is probably one of the dumbest things any investor could do. Chinese companies as a matter of routine cook their books and lie about just about everything. On the scum scale, most Chinese mutual fund managers are not far behind.
