Guest Wuhan4me
Seems to be online --> the list is here - http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf2visitorsthere's some mention of ADS for PRC people - it won't apply unless it's a tour group of 5 PRC people. She can apply online at http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/Welcome.htm which will then get a biometric appointment scheduled ( they need them fingerprints, la ) - they mention 129 ASC's at http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/wh...ly/unitedstates so start online, complete the online app, then set up a fingerprinting appointment. She'll be a bit different as she's in the US. If you get squonked along the line, tell them it's for a 'family visa' - the criteria for a tourist visa is a bit different . Good Luck ! This is far more cumbersome than it was five years ago, when I mailed my application to the British Consulate in New York and had my passport (stamped with a visitor visa) returned to me in a week. In our case we are keeping it simple and are waiting for my wife to obtain US citizenship before traveling to Europe. Green-card can travel into Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean without a visa.
