Mick
When I lived in China, four years were spent in Shantou, right on the coast in Guangdong. I went through a typhoon there and believe me, the building I was in shook all night long. Was nothing new however. I grew up in Florida. Hurricane Donna hit my hometown in 1960....and I lived in Miami in '92 when Andrew blew through. That was the worst storm I ever witnessed, bar none. We were without power for almost three months.
