We haven't received our greencard yet but we have plans for August to go to China to visit family, is this a bad idea? Do customs give trouble to people with this document? Carry document, and a copy of marriage cert to show name change if name on passport and AP document are different. AP doc used to exit China and Enter the USA. Only issue is, IF you filed to adjust status more than 180 days AFTER I-94 expiration, if so then do not attempt to travel even with AP doc. Link to comment
