X Ray from medical in Guangzhou

Recommended Posts

my wife is here in the US on a K-1, in no small part thanks to people's advice on this forum. we're married, we've got her SS number, and most of the AOS application is put together.

i'm just left wondering -- why do we still have a chest x-ray from her medical sitting in our living room? will it be requested at any point in the future? (e.g., when she gets her vaccinations)? most importantly, if the chest x-ray isn't standard procedure, is there something we should be concerned about as far as her health goes?

thanks

Nah - yours to keep. Won't quite work as a doorstop, though.

Someone may want to look at it if she ever does contract TB.

Yep, the med center uses this to look for evidence of TB.

It is best to keep in in your carry-on when traveling to USA with visa, the POE may want to see, it. I have read a few cases though rare that POE requests to see the x-ray.

seems like wise advice for when entering the US.

i wonder if my wife's is still readable given the amount of abuse it must have taken on planes, trains and automobiles across china and the US...

the civil surgeon for AOS may want to see it too. Or no-one will, but better to keep it safe

once you go through poe no one will ever want to see that x-ray, stick it in your closet , and all will be ok, once in usa doctors like to take x-rays if they need them , it is called spreading the wealth  , your wealth
