jim&huiyun1
My wifes 20 year old daughter entered the u.s. two days ago on a k-2 visa. My wife and her other daughter (9 years old) entered in august 2008 and are scheduled for their A.O.S. interview on April 24, 2009. My questions are these: 1.) Will my wifes 20 year old daughter facing different A.O.S. challenges, in particular being granted a green card, than her younger 9 year old sister. Again, both hold k-2 visas. 2.) Since my wife and her younger daughter both have interviews scheduled in April, would it be worth a telephone call to the USCIS in attempt to add my wifes 20 year old daughter for an interview on the same date? I understand we will still need to submit the proper paperwork for her and have her do her biometrics prior to this happening. Thanks for all input !! Link to comment

Sebastian
I think if you wanted some 'speed' to get her officially interviewed on same day as your wife and younger daughter - you should set up an info pass appointment and have it all set up during the infopass appointment. If you haven't filed AOS for her yet, do so. In a previous post, I had recommended that you file her AOS package within 48 hours of her hitting the usa border. Bring a complete copy of her AOS package (the one you filed moments ago) and the notices about your wife and 9-year old daughter, WITH YOU to that info pass appointment. BIOMETRICS , mostly, is contracted out , so it's not a scheduling PROBLEM for the company doing it, but you have to have some kind o appointment to get it done (a topic you should cover at the infopass appt) - though I vaguely remember someone doing a walk-in biometrics process, somewhere, listed here in the last 5 months. Randy W has first hand experience with that '21st birthday age out' problem - so if you can hurry things along, at any step of this process, it will be helpful to her, to keep her in the country. FWIW - there were dozens of good nuggets in http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?...c=35141&hl= I strongly suggest you re-read it, paying particular attention to the usage of red-markers and the verbiage to write. She turns 21 in September 2009 - so the usage of red-markers, imo, is gonna be important. Edited March 12, 2009 by Sebastian (see edit history) Link to comment
