Pete
My I-485 petition has been transferred from USCIS in NJ to the CA office for quite some time. And yesterday I got a really stupid request for additional info. from USCIS - they want me to submit an official English translation of my marriage certificate which was issued in the State of NJ .... oh well! Anyway, I need to send them a letter "explaining" the fact, but they seem to forget telling me where should I send the evidence back to. So is the address the same as the return address on the USCIS envelop which is US Dept of Homeland Security - USCISP.O. Box 30111-30115Laguna Niguel,CA 92607-0111 Or USCIS - California Service Center 2nd Floor,24000 Avila Road,Laguna Niguel,CA 92607-0111 I just want to be perfectly sure and not causing any further delay. TIA,Pete Link to comment

TIA,PeteThe first Address is for USPS Priority MAIL it is a PO BOX. The second address is for FED-EX or UPS because a courier cannot deliver to a PO BOX. Choose your method of shipment and send to the appropriate address for the shipment method. I would recommend USPS to the PO BOX. Note on the envelope RFE responce. Link to comment
Randy W
You might include a copy of the marriage certificate itself, which is the English translation of your marriage certificate, and point that out in your cover letter. Give 'em what they ask for - otherwise, you may be wasting a stamp Link to comment
LeeFisher3
The RFE needs to accompany the evidence you are submitting, I beleive there is a bar code on it which helps them link it with your case file. Link to comment
