Why do you think US citizens can't attend the interview?

I've ridden the fast four hour train from Shenyang to Beijing and back several times. I didn't know there was also a fast train to Guangzhou. I'll have my lao po check on that, and the prices, and compare to the price of plane tickets, when our interview is approaching.
