I dedicate this song to all the consular officials in Guangzhou. They have no compassion and are ignorant of the suffering they are causing. When I see how many good, loving couples are being kept apart, it breaks my heart.

 

The sad thing is these officials are "public servants" and are suppose to be on our side. They allegedly work for us and we, the American taxpayer, pay their salaries. They seem to have forgotten this.

Defendo I really understand where you are coming from. I too was the recipient of the dreaded white slip. It took me a while but what I finally came to grips with is that the problem is not with the Consulate officers but is that of the many scammers that have led the way.

Yep, it's just not that easy and quick for all to married a foreign person and get them right over. But hey, that's ok. Or spouses are in it for life and that is what matters most. Good luck with your wait. My wait was very constructive.
