Rick
Hi, I am going to submit I-130 in order to start our k3/cr1 process very soon. However, I am still confusing about whether I need my wife's birth certificate. According to visajourney, I don't see anything that the beneficary's birth certificate is required. Or maybe I missed it somewhere. I just want to see you guys experience here. Thank you very much. Ricky Link to comment
Sebastian
You'll need it, but if not submitted now, you'll have to submit at the I-864 'stage' when it's at the NVC. Link to comment
Rick
So it will still be fine if I don't submit now. I want to submit I-130 as soon as possible so in the mean time she could get her birth certificate and I could wait for her to mail it to me. Would that work? Thanks Ricky Link to comment
david_dawei
no b/c needed in the petition submission. This is a notorial translation she will need to get after the petition goes to NVC, along with a police report. Historically, these were brought to the medical exam but it appears there is a new procedure to bring this to the interview. Link to comment
