I like the emails the next morning telling me my passport has been shipped out. They only give 1 yr tourist visas too even if you request 6 months. I've applied for four tourist visas, and will be applying for another one soon, and I have never filled out the "Contact in China" fields. I've never had any problems. We recently used this service that was recomended to me by C4racer. http://www.traveldocs.com/cn/vrdc.htmWe went through their Washington DC office who took it to the DC consulate. We had no problem getting multiple entry 60 days per stay visas. My wife's is good for 2 years, mine is only good until next September because my passport expires next November.
