griz326
We were in Spokane, Washington today for biometrics. My step-daughter was first and everything went smoothly. My wife was next. She does not have fingerprints vivid enough to image on the biometrics machine; she flunked biometrics! Actually, that's not official, but we were warned by the biometrics taker that he did not believe the FBI would accept the fingerprint images registered in the machine. We now await the pass/fail from the FBI and a possible second fingerprint appointment. In case you're thinking that Lao Po had her fingerprints removed after doing all of the bank jobs in China to pay her way here ... We plucked ducks for Thanksgiving dinner Monday night, which the biometrics taker suggested might have worn off her fingerprint ridges. Unfortunately, the trip to Spokane requires a day off of work, a 10 hour RT drive, a hotel room and fuel; ain't cheap. Link to comment
dnoblett
Next time you do all the chores and insist she do nothing for a few days before biometrics. My Yu had to do fingerprints for a job at the public school, THREE times, the FBI or state kept having problems with the prints on the card. Yet she had NO problems with biometrics for AOS. Randy W
My wife had whacked her index finger with a meat cleaver at the age of seven, and still has the scars to show for it. Nonetheless, she did fine, until last year for the actual green card. Her last set was sent to the city of Houston, who turned them down twice because of the scars. So we had to go downtown ourselves to get a police report from the city of Houston, shich said basically that they had never heard of her. Link to comment
