I need to copy my Yahoo Call History to help prove my relationship with my SO. We were given a white slip on 8/21 and the file is now on it's way back to the NVC and then USCIS, so I must now prepare for the motion or appeal on the file. It's time to work on the evidence.

 

I've been able to copy the Call History as a Wordpad document. But, when it prints out the print is so light it is not legible. Does anyone know how to somehow alter the color of the font to black or somehow make the file print so it is easily read? I've asked this question at a local computer store and they were unable to help me. Thre HAS to be a way to do this...HELP, LOL!

I tried this, and it doesn't work. The ink cartridge is brand new. For some reason, I can't get this to print out in any color but the blue color of the call history log

None of this works for me. I think the problem comes from that, in order to capture the info from the Yahoo Messenger Call Log I had to take a picture of the screen and then paste it in a Wordpad document. So it is not really a text document, it is a picture. I believe this is why I cannot alter the font or the color of the printout. I even tried attaching the file in an email and sending it to myself, and then tried to change the font and darken the color. So far, I haven't been able to get anything to work.

 

I have to get this call history to print out in such a way that the DOS and GUZ won't have to strain their eyes, cuz that only gives them another fatal reason...

I'll clarify... it's too late... if you don't have a lawyer holding the case at GUZ... it's all meaningless now...

It's not paranoia. It's getting ready for the next step in the process. After a white due to INA 221(g), "not a bona fide relationship" the burden of proof that we have that relationship is on us. If and when that NOID/NOIR letter comes from USCIS I plan on having as much proof/evidence of a true relationship as possible to fight it. My SO and I talk Yahoo Messenger voice-to-voice just about every night and I think that's a significant thing to show. Thus, the reason for the help I am asking for.

 

We do have a lawyer, and they AND my congressman did try to keep the file in GUZ. But like seemingly everyone else who had the same problem, there was no review, and the file is now in transit back to the NVC and eventually USCIS. I intend to be ready. Thirty days is NOT a long time to get everything together...better to have as much of it together and ready than to scramble at the last minute, right?

It's not clear what you are expecting - action is rarely taken on a petition returned like that.

You can change the contrast and/or color in Photoshop or other photo editing program .

Well, what I am expecting is to have an opportunity to see this played out. I'm hoping to find out the reason(s) why we got a white. I guess after the file gets back to Vermont with the lawyer's help I'll find out if I'll get a chance to have the problem(s) overcome, or if I have to file again. Nobody knows what the future holds, and there have been others who have gone through the same process and had their petition reaffirmed and sent back to GUZ, and in the end they were successful in getting pink. There was a thread here to the USCIS site listing case results of motions/appeals with successful results.

 

Maybe to some of the more experienced members here I don't have a snowball's chance in Hell, at least with this particular go-around. But I know that giving up and throwing in the towel will NOT get me what I want-a life with my SO. Perseverance is the only thing I have that can possibly give me that chance. If this one doesn't work I'll try another route, learning as I go, but I am not going to give up. Would any of you?

You may know otherwise, but in our experience there has been only one case where a white slip was issued, it was re-affirmed, and the petition sent back to GUZ, where it was approved. All this was because GUZ didn't "believe" that they would get married within 90 days.

 

If the visa officer says you "don't have a valid relationship", then, by golly (and law), you don't have a valid relationship - UNTIL you file a new petition. Perhaps your efforts will help toward that end.

 

Only the VO has had an opportunity to talk to your SO - the USCIS won't.

Unless the VSC changes their procedures, they will issue the NOID letter to you. But how long that takes, no one knows.
