TootTaLu
Will the chances of receiving "Green Card" in a timely fashion increase by staying put and not moving around to different places after getting married? I know of case where the Mexican entered the USA on Fiance Visa and married the American man.The married couple then lived in 3 different states in the first two years of marriage. The Mexican bride's Green Card was delayed due to not keeping a permanent address. dnoblett
Moving around can get an interview letter lost in the mail, and perhaps end up dealing with a deportation proceeding. Moving while USCIS is handling a petition can be hazardous. Link to comment
Randy W
Yes and no - if you file your change of address forms in a timely manner AND they process these forms in a timely manner, no problem. With each move, however, the probability of a screw-up increases. It is STRONGLY recommended that you STAY PUT. Edited September 17, 2008 by Randy W (see edit history) Link to comment
