Your immigrant (or K) visa application has been approved; we now only require the passport(s) of the approved applicant(s) for printing. This is really great news!!! But I have read that some people didn't actually get a visa once they arrived. Is it ok to celebrate? We've waited so long and now it feels like we have overcome a huge step! Thanks everyone for asking and answering posts, it has helped me a lot and sometimes made me worry (but not too much) . Also, when does this thing expire? We can't get to GUZ for a few weeks. LeeFisher3 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 This is good news, now for the bad news, on a 5 day turn around. If you submit the passport on Monday afternoon you will need to return on Wednesday for the pink slip and to complete the EMS label with an expected delivery of the passport and visa on Friday, possibly Saturday. Submission after Tuesday adds an extra day or two due to the weekend. Since you can't speed up the process just plan on having a nice holiday in GZ. Link to comment
