scooby94
We got approved to get our 2 year green card today, but the officer never took my SO's EAD card or her i-94. He did give us a slip with a date and stamp stating that we passed and that we should receive the G/C in 20 days. Is this common practice? I heard other officers cut up the cards and take the i-94 if one is approved. Im not worried, just wondering. thanks everyone. Link to comment

Randy W
There's no reason why they would either take it or not take it, except as a courtesy to her so she has her EAD card until the green card arrives. Taking the EAD before the green card arrives would leave her without a US government ID. Link to comment
