Guest WenDylan
http://money.cnn.com/2008/07/17/news/econo...sion=2008071708A lot of of these make sense, however I guess you could say I learned from experience, rather than statements. It is kind of fun to read it now and completely understand what is being said though. Link to comment
Guest ShaQuaNew
The article seems pretty much on target. ...I'd say especially when it comes to the I / Me scenario and privacy issues. The American culture teaches it's people to seek out and get what's best for you. In China, this attitude can be viewed as self-seeking and selfish. The Chinese people are more open to sharing, one-with another. No secrets as it were. I've also noticed that when it comes to privacy, the people of government and work really don't understand and will openly ask questions about your age, living arrangements, income, etc. It's still quite challenging for me to just up and offer the information to a co-worker, but I've often been asked questions by our HR and Finance departments that would be disallowed in America for fear of lawsuit.
