My father says its too big a risk for him to cosponsor my wife is it really that big a risk? Link to comment

skrunks Posted August 18, 2003 Report Share Posted August 18, 2003 From what I understand on the form, anyone who signs is liable for reimbursement to the government should medicare, SSI, welfare, etc costs be incurred. If you couldn't pay then they would expect co-sponsor pay. So, i think that is where the "risk" comes in.
